Available Helicopter Types

Main Training Helicopters:  PWH operate Robinson R22 & R44 Helicopters for the majority of their flight training. This is because 80% of our students take up employment in Australia upon completing their training and the Australian operators require their employees to have Flight time on Robinsons, their most common machine type.

Also on demand are: Guimbal Cabri G2, Hughes 500, Bell Jet Ranger and Squirrel (AS 350).

Trans Tasman agreement:

Upon completing a New Zealand CPLH, trainees can apply to convert their Licence to an Australian Commercial Helicopter Licence.
